These terms govern your use of BoltTorque (the "Service") at bolttorqcalc.com. By purchasing a license or using the Service, you agree to these terms.
Upon successful payment, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the Service for professional engineering work. The license permits activation on up to 3 devices simultaneously per the per-license device limit.
We offer a 14-day refund from the date of purchase, no questions asked. Refunds are processed by LemonSqueezy, our Merchant of Record, and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days. Refunds revoke the license and deactivate all associated devices.

The Service is a calculation aid, not engineering approval.
Outputs (torque values, stress ratios, assembly cards) are generated from the inputs you provide and from published standards (ASME PCC-1-2019, EN 13555, GB/T 16823.3, ASME B16.5, EN ISO 898-1). All outputs must be reviewed, approved, and signed off by a qualified mechanical or reliability engineer familiar with the specific installation before use in the field.
We do not guarantee suitability for any particular application. Factors including but not limited to gasket condition, bolt reuse history, thread damage, lubricant degradation, temperature transients, and installation workmanship materially affect real-world results and are outside the scope of this calculator.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service operator's total liability arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the license in the preceding 12 months. The operator shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to equipment damage, production loss, injury, or regulatory penalties, arising from use of the Service or its outputs.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available and updated. We may deploy updates that modify calculations to align with published standard errata; such updates do not constitute breach of these terms. We do not guarantee specific uptime.
Your license may be terminated if you materially breach these terms, including license-sharing or circumvention of activation. Upon termination, your license key is disabled and all activations are revoked. Payment refunds in case of termination are at our sole discretion and are not required.
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Disputes shall be resolved by the courts of Australia, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified via the website footer and, for active customers, by email. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.
